Surrey Tuning – Booking Deposit

Why do we ask for a booking deposit?

The deposit is taken to reserve a time slot with us:  please read below:

We have had several instances and issues which has forced us to take a deposit from each and every customer. This has resulted in loss time and revenue.

1. Customers not showing up for the booking without contact, or cancelling the night before their appointment. This stops us booking in other customers and completely wastes our time, we require a minimum 24 hours notice of intended cancellation
2. The vehicle is in bad health, poorly maintained or has underlying faults which prevents us from carrying out the work intended
3.  Customers knowingly have an immobiliser system installed, however have no documentation how to disable it preventing us from carrying out the work
4.  The vehicle has been tuned before which prevents us tuning the vehicle or prevents us from carrying out the work intended
5.  The vehicle has a tuning box installed which prevents us from tuning the vehicle

Carrying out a tune knowingly on an unhealthy vehicle will produce poor results or reduce the longevity of the engine/gearbox which can ultimately lead to premature component failure.

If all is well and the booking is fine, we will deduct the £50 from the overall balance we have quoted you. An example: Remap cost £300, Deposit £50 – total left to pay = £250

Please check the following before booking:

Your vehicle is regularly serviced and well maintained

There are no engine/emissions, gearbox ABS or traction lights illuminated on the dash

Your vehicle is not driving or behaving as it should

You have a ghost or other immobiliser and know how to disarm it and put it into service mode
