Scorpion releases a new range of performance exhaust options for Mini Cooper S F56 (GPF Model).
Scorpion Exhausts are proud to be technical partners and joint lead sponsor of the MINI Challenge racing series which now supports the famous BTCC championship. Scorpion took delivery of their own GPF model F56 Cooper S in late November which is excitingly the confirmed MINI challenge series safety car. This technical partnership follows the brands track to road technology transfer vision, everything the company gains from working with these professional racing series gets passed onto the end customer for the road.
Constructed from premium grade stainless steel, the new GPF-back exhaust system has been designed as a direct replacement of the more restrictive OEM system. It features 70mm pipework, a non-resonated centre section, acoustically refined rear silencer and 100mm twin Daytona tailpipes. Enthusiasts who opt for the new Scorpion performance exhaust will be able to choose from a highly polished or smooth, black ceramic tailpipe finish.
The new hand-built system has been designed to improve power by increasing gas flow and perfectly balancing back pressure. As well as increasing power, buyers will notice a sharper throttle response. With high quality materials used in development and motorsport based knowledge built from over 20 years experience in high-end race series, the GPF-back system emits a stunning exhaust tone that is deeper than original and sounds pure quality. The intensive research and development process means the internals of the rear silencer eliminate any drone that may be heard in the cabin.
